The (In)VISIBLE LEGACY of WOMEN in INDUSTRIALIZATION: Perspectives from the Basque Country and Argentina

From the UNESCO Chair on Landscapes and Heritage at UPV/EHU, the UNESCO Chair on Archaeological Heritage at the National University of Central Buenos Aires Province (UNICEN), the feminist network ARQSAREAN, and the Patrimonio SXX platform, we are pleased to invite you to the 7th 8M25 Reflective Conference, titled:
“The (In)VISIBLE LEGACY of WOMEN in INDUSTRIALIZATION: Perspectives from the Basque Country and Argentina”

Historiography has largely erased women’s role in industrialization, reinforcing the idea that their contributions were either minor or exceptional. However, new research is shedding light on their essential involvement in this process. During this event, we will explore these perspectives through five presentations and a guided tour, fostering a shared space for reflection.
